Polyticks, and sich.

I am not an anarchist, as the “About” page would have you believe.  I do not hate government, but I see it as a necessary evil.  I am a bit of a paradox.  You might have heard of libertarians.  They keep books alphabetically organized and shush people.  Or maybe they are fiscally hardcore conservatives and socially liberals.  One of the two.  I am like that, but the opposite.  Kinda.  I believe in income redistribution and collective-goods allotment, but the government does a bang-up job of this by vomiting tax money all o’er the flippin’ place.  I am opposed to government waste and bureaucracy, but I think that everyone should have access to healthcare at a low cost to them (note:  I am not at all a supporter of single-payer healthcare).  I support workers, but oppose Big Labor.  They have gotten arrogantly out-of-touch with those they claim to represent.  I support rigorous public-school reform, but like the notion of public schools (even if, at times, I hate their curriculum).  At the same time of all this, I remain a strong proponent of national sovereignty.  I hate abortion, even in the case of rape or incest.  I find homosexuality morally repugnant, and oppose gay marriage.  I like the idea of personal responsibility, and I like our republican form of government.  I usually avoid labels, because I like to think Biblically and not on the principles of this world, but if a label I had to conjure, I would say “Christian socialist.”  I guess what I’m trying to convey is who cares?

Hello, random lonely people who read the words of Rusty!

Hello, all.  I use the word all, which is funny, because I doubt that anyone will bother reading what someone other than they thinks about life and such.  I like poetry, politics, music, religion, and, well, lots of things.  Most of all, I like pepperoni.  Pepperoni rules.  I guess what I’m trying to say here is who cares?
